1-17-2013 meeting of the Rotary Club of Chickasha
Sharon Bowman of First National Bank of Chickasha is the Rotary Club of Chickasha's newest member. She was sworn in by President Cody White at the 1-17-2013 meeting. Paul Garrett was her sponsor.
The Jan. 17, 2013 meeting of the Rotary Club of Chickasha opened with prayer, pledge and song.
Guests included Reagan Elkins and Ray Jung.
President Cody presented a $250 to Kathy Tibbetts of the Friends of the Library, which is having a Valentine Chocolate Celebration on Feb. 13 to help the Chickasha Public Library buy kid-friendly computers.
Prayer concerns include Jerry Mottinger and Bill and Janice McVey.
T.C. Cannon has been proposed as a new member for John Holt.
Gary McNatt asked Rotarians to nominate High School Seniors for Boys State.

The program was the screen of the new Rotary membership video, "A Rotary Christmas Carol." Before the movie began, star Chris Mosley and his entourage made a grand Red Carpet appearance. After posing for the paparazzi, Mosely took a front row seat just as the movie began.
Several club members had roles in the movie, including a not-so-tiny Stewart Fairburn as Tiny Tim and Hank Ross as Roy Troutt.
Critics Siskel and Ebert raved about Bill Smith in his role as Skip's caddy, Bret Burn's and his portrayal of Skip's attorney and Tim Brauer for his musical score.
