The August 2, 2018 meeting was called to order by President John Gorton. The prayer was led by Rot. Sharon Bowman and the pledged by Rot. Bob Hays. Catering was provided by Chicken Express. Song leader Mitch Williams led the club in a rendition of "You're the Inspiration" to support the Rotary 2018-2019 them Be The Inspiration. The program for the day was District Governor Dennis Brigham and Asst. District Governor Kevin Murphree.

Dennis began his Rotary journey as a Charter Member of Cross Timbers Rotary Club in Norman, OK. He was a board member from the Club's inception through his entire membership and also served as President of Cross Timbers 2001-2002.
In January of 2012 Dennis joined the Rotary Club of Norman and began serving as Rotaract advisor. 2013-2017, he served on the Board of Directors. Dennis has served on the Governor's Leadership Team 2014-2018 and went through the EDL program in the Fall of 2015. He served as District 5770 Rotaract Chair 2015-2017.
Dennis is the co-owner of Bentley Turf Farms in Norman, Oklahoma. A simple farmer and passionate photographer, Dennis is married to Norman Rotarian, Beth Brigham. They have three sons, Alexander, a RYLA and YSE Alum, Nicholas, a RYLA Alum and Interactor, and Blake, a future Interactor.
Dennis sits on the Board of the Norman Arts Council, The Oklahoma Turfgrass Research Foundation and is a past Chair of the City of Norman Parks Commissioners.
