Josh Butler, well test operations manager at Select Energy Services was guest speaker at the 3-21-2013 meeting of the Rotary Club of Chickasha.
The March 21, 2013 meeting of the Rotary Club of Chickasha opened with a video of Rotary International President and President-election visiting the National Memorial i Oklahoma City. It was followed by a pledge, prayer and song.
Guests included Jason Sherrill, Jeff McVey, Rebecca King, Lily Oberlender and Elizabeth Allen.
Prayer concerns include David Hall Jr.'s mother, Pauline Garrett's mother and Bill and Janice McVey.
The Rotary District Assembly is scheduled for April 13 at USAO. Let Elmer Kuntz know if you plan to attend.
Rotarian of the Day was Bill McVey, who introduce Josh Butler, well test operations manager at Select Energy Services as the gust speaker.
Select Energy recently opened a Chickasha field office. Chickasha is part of the company's Mid-Continental region comprised of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Arkansas. Nationwide, Select employs more than 5,000 people as it provides a variety of oil field services to more than 400 customers.
Butler said Select services include the following: water transfer, well testing, containment, tank trucks, frac tanks, poly lines and acquisitions and rentals.
The company's focus is on developing a proactive strategy, safety, building Team Select, training, communication and planning.
Butler said the potential for growing the Chickasha operation is tremendous because of the increased farce activity by companies like Continental and BP.
"We see Chickasha being huge in two years," he said.
He said Select plans to be an active community partner in Chickasha and has met with city leaders to discuss ways they can get involved.
The Select yard in Chickasha is west of 29th Street on Highway 62.
The meeting adjourned with recitation of the Rotary 4-Way Test.
