A ribbon cutting was held February 26 for the completed playground, funded by a district grant.
The children at the Resurrection House in Chickasha will have their own place to play thanks to a grant from Chickasha Rotary.
Chickasha Rotary applied for and received a grant from the Rotary District Office. With the grant, the local Rotary chapter was able to purchase a brand new playground for the Resurrection House.
“We are grateful for the impact Rotary has made in our community and in the world. This wonderful swing set will bring joy to children who may be going through some of the toughest times in their life,” Zack Bowles, Resurrection House Executive Director, said.
Last December, the Resurrection House, located at 701 W. Colorado Ave. opened their Women’s Center, which is an expansion of the west wing.
