Garrett Shaw shared his story about receiving stem cell treatment and its role in his recovery from multiple sclerosis.
The January 12, 2023 meeting of the Rotary Club of Chickasha was called to order by President Lewis Knisley. Rotarian Mitch Williams led the club in singing "Smile (And the World Smiles with You)".
Pres. Knisley delivered announcements:
- The Rotary Roll Call bike giveaway for the second nine weeks at Lincoln was to be held that day at 1:15 pm.
- Rotary Trivia Night will be Friday, January 20th, at 7pm at Jungle Ice Fun Zone.
Rotarian of the Day Tim Elliott, filling in for Bill McVey, introduced his speaker, Garrett Shaw. In 2020, Shaw traveled to Moscow, Russia to receive stem cell treatment for his multiple sclerosis. This was Shaw's first time sharing his story.
