Dan Procter
The Dan Procter Scholarship is awarded annually to one or more area high school seniors who are entering their first year of college. The scholarship awards $500 cash for each of the student's first two semesters, for $1,000 total.
Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA to be selected and must be enrolled full-time (12 or more hours) to receive the scholarship. Students must achieve a 2.0 GPA in their first semester to receive the second semester grant.

Application process
- Personal resume with written references
- Short essay telling about yourself, your ambitions for higher education, and your reason for seeking this scholarship
- Copy of current high school transcript
Receiving the scholarship
Once selected, Dan Procter recipients may be asked to attend a weekly Rotary meeting to introduce themselves to the club.
- Copy of college tuition receipt (or any proof of total tuition amount)
- Proof of enrollment for 12 or more hours in the current semester
- 2nd semester only: Proof of 2.0 or better GPA in 1st semester
Rotary will send payments directly to the college's bursar office to credit to the student's account. Awardees will receive mail or email notification when sent.
