President Nathan Called the Meeting to Order 

Guest:  Logan Tibbetts 

Rotarian of the Day is Pauline Garrett but she could not be present so President Nathan introduced the Program Ron Sanders.  He first introduced Grace and Bailey who attended RYLA this year.  He asked those who have attended RYLA in the past and Logan Tibbettts stood.  He then talked about how he was a counselor at the first ever RYLA camp over 20 years ago.  This camp is for Junior about go into the Senior year.  

He then turned it over to the two young ladies to talk about their experience.  Grace went first and shared that she did not know what to expect but went anyway.  Her mother strongly encouraged her to go.  After talk to others that have attended and she got excited.  After being there a short time she was so glad she went.  Everyone that was there wanted to be there and they were all so positive.  The Oklahoma School for the Deaf arrived and so the RYLA campers and the deaf campers worked together to handle challenges.  Both groups had to learn how to communicate with each other.  She also shared that one day it was very HOT and they had team building exercises.  She was put in a group with a lot of vocal people as she is and learned that about what her true leadership skills are.  She is hoping to use what she learned at RYLA with her Volleyball Team.  

Then Ron turned it over to the Bailey.  She is really big in the FFA and is very active with the school.  She really loved RYLA.  She has gone to other camps but feels that RYLA was really the happiest place to be.  She said it was the best time of her life.  She came home with not new friends, but with 50 new family members.  She keeps up with the other campers almost every day.  It helped her to open up and deal with her shyness.  She shared how bonded the campers became.  RYLA is her home.  

Bother campers were very thankful for the club letting them go.  

Ron then did his program to talk about fraud that just happened.  An email they got requesting money be transferred to an account.  Turned out that the email was a fishing email.  They recovered most but not all the money.  He then reported about a woman being taken care of by a care giver and her wedding ring ended up missing.  The State of OK is holding Senior Seminar around to teach about fraud.  He shared another client that was requesting funds so often that they checked and sure enough it was sweepstakes that kept telling his client that he needed to send money in to claim prize.  He got a heated text telling him he needed to take care of his son.  Turns out that one was a wrong number but could easily been fraud.  Majority of the frauds happened to senior citizens.
