THE PROGRAM COMMITTEE WOULD LIKE TO CALL YOUR ATTENTION TO THE NEXT COUPLE OF PROGRAMS THAT ALL MEMBERS SHOULD FIND OF PARTICULAR INTEREST. • On March 24, Rob Lake will be our guest speaker and will tell us about the ProCure Proton Therapy Center. Also that day, Kaylee Gilbert of Chickasha High School and the winner of the local Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest will be our guest. Kaylee will collect her check for winning the contest and will deliver her winning speech • On March 31, our guest speaker will be Dr. Stephen M. Prescott, who will tell us about the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. A leader in studies of the basic mechanisms of human disease, Prescott came to OMRF from the University of Utah, where he founded the innovative Eccles Program in Human and Molecular Biology & Genetics and also served as the executive director of the Huntsman Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated cancer center.At OMRF, Prescott initiated the largest campus expansion in the foundation's 64-year-history. Prescott is expected to discuss the latest in cancer research and many other exciting breakthroughs at OMRF. Let's have a great turnout for these upcoming programs.
